Kathryn Erbe

  Kathryn Elsbeth Erbe, born on July 5, 1965, is an American actor. Her most well-known roles include those of Alexandra Eames in Law & Order: Criminal Intent (a spin-off of Law & Order) and Shirley Bellinger on the HBO show Oz.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Erbe Erbe, daughter of Elsbeth Erbe and Richard Erbe, was born in Newton Massachusetts. Her father is a genetic researcher. In 1989 she graduated from New York University (NYU).



 



 Career



 Erbe is a NYU undergraduate student, was played by Lynn Redgrave's daughter on the sitcom Chicken Soup.
